Sherrilyn's training methods are based on a sound foundation of classical equitation training and scientific understanding of horse learning and behaviour. Sherrilyn believes that the Tai Ji principles of soft overcoming hard and mind overcoming force are particularly relevant to horse training, and therefore her methods are at the same time both kind and very effective.
